What was the highlight of Route Active Hotel

Absolutely amazing

Excellent stay, beautiful stay in the mountains, amazing scenery. We had a stunning ground floor apartment with s terrace facing the pool and mountains. The staff were amazing particularly the lady at the reception who walked us to our room. We had half boar and the buffet food was of such high quality. They really do everything right - enough variety but small enough that they can really make nice tasty dishes - not your average (normally bad) all inc buffet. We absolutely loved it and so did our 2 small kids. We had no issues with parking either and got there around 4pm. Only regret is that we only stayed 1 night. thank you for a fab stay!!

Excellent short stay in clean modern hotel.

Friendly staff, nice modern vibe, good sized room/apartment and wide range of dishes fr meals. Room very clean too. Very impressed overall. Good mix of guests too, with no one ’type’ predominating, but quiet at night. Not a party hotel! Ideal for the active outdoors holidaymaker but suited to all really.

The only slight downside was parking. As stated in the listing, the hotel does not have its own car park and the surrounding area although it has street parking, is quite full of cars. If coming with a rental car, hire a small one. It helps with roads and parking everywhere in Tenerife.

Very Good

The breakfast was wonderful and diverse, offering plenty of choices. We also tried the dinner for €16, which was excellent. The room was quiet and peaceful, with goats grazing nearby—a charming touch. There were plenty of parking spaces, making it very convenient for those traveling by car.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. Although housekeeping came to clean the room, they did not change the towels or bedding, wash the dishes, or wipe the dust. Additionally, hair was everywhere from the cleaning staff. Some plates and cups were dirty at breakfast, so we had to check and choose cleaner ones.

Great hotel with very friendly staff and delicious food. Quet, clean and healthy food.

Staff members are very friendly. Especially grateful for restaurant staff and huge thank you for Chef. They were helping very much with Vegan options. Food was very delicious. We had a lovely time!

Brilliant staff. Kind, proffesional, really perfect. The staff makes this hotel.

Property itself has seen better days, but for the money you pay, it is still very good value

Room had terrible smell of damp and moisture and we couldnt get rid of it in the entire week. Parking is very very limited

The tranquil atmosphere, quietness, no pool bar, no pool-side entertainment etc. No noisy nightlife in the area. Staff is so pleasant and helpful. Lots of knowledge of where to go for hikes. And the breakfast

What was the highlight of Route Active Hotel

Amazing oasis!

The breakfast was amazing, they also had gluten free options for my friend. The pool was amazing, around 24 degrees (I hate cold water and this pool had a nice temperature in January). You get a big soft pool towel at the reception for free. The room was pretty big for 3 people and we had a pretty view of the sea. We were able to use the kitchen, which was a nice plus, since we didn't eat out every day. The rooms are all in a quiet area and the whole hotel stretches over multiple buildings. Just down a street you have access to hiking paths. The gym also looked nice, but we didn't manage to use it. The lounge area next to the breakfast room has a lot of books for rainy days. There are multiple bus stops nearby. The staff spoke English very well.

During certain days and times it was hard to find parking around, since the hotel doesn't have its own. So be prepared to drive around a few rounds, especially when there is a football match.

Exceptional

super friendly staff, amazing view from our terrace, heated pool with a nice area to relax and enjoy the sun, also rarely seen such a big gym in a hotel with various different exercise options, huge breakfast buffet with daily varying alternatives.

parking is a struggle in the area, also we struggled a bit to get the humidity out of our room.

There are kitchen devices where I can cook by myself. The room is big and we enjoyed our small garden.

Unfortunately there is no hotel parking spaces. We needed to look for parking on the streets

The breakfast had a wide range of fresh produce, staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious and they were cleaned on daily basis.

Not many parking spaces and no heating in the winter.

Large rooms, great design

Stayed here for new year's eve, only viable and affordable option in the region - great sized living room with kitchen, nice modern design - just what we needed for socializing in. Liked having the food kiosk for snacks. The staff at the hotel desk helped us arrange a pizza delivery.

Not easy to take luggage to/from the street parking, especially if you don't find a nearby parking space. Also 2-3 flights of stairs to traverse within the hotel.

Perfect to explore the Tenerife

It's a very nice place to stay in Tenerife to explore an island! The hotel is situated at slighty busy street, but room windows overlook the pool or the mountain/ocean view (you won't be disturb by the traffic, except the goats nearby :)). The hotel has nice standard, the rooms could use some refreshing though (nothing serious, just painting, replacing slightly worn small elements, etc). Breakfasts and dinners are terrific! Fish, vegetables, local food from time to time, everything very tasty. There are no shops/restaurants which you can visit on the foot, so if you plan to move arround the island the car is a must. There are some walk paths near the coast though.

I can't complain about anything.

Very nice stay and lovely staff!

Very good, the reception lady was super helpful and considering. We arrived late due to the flight issue and she was very kind to let kids have dinner and then check in, thinking everything about customer . Room has everything needed, very family friendly.

Probably only downside is the parking space is quite limited so you have to search for street parking if it is full .

What was the highlight of Route Active Hotel

Nice place to stay for active holiday.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Positive suprise was the heated pool what we enjoyed with our kid in mornings and after daytrips. Rooms are big - kitchenette, living room and bedroom, perfect for family stay. Breakfast was nice with many healthy choices, not too many options but had some varaieties. There was no pancakes or bacon, but had smoothie. It is nice location to take trips around the island, quick way to the highway. Longeria is small town with local cafees and not much tourists on your way. There is vary nice icecream cafe witin 5 minutes walk with generous portion under 2€. We stayed the ground floor where it was easy to go to play in the garden or around the pool, our kid liked it a much. To find parking space on the streets could be difficult (more if there is football mach across the street) but in the end you will find something eaven next to hotel.

Overall looking is nice but some of the details were worn out. The rooms have been refurnished some years ago but the quality is not the best. We had old built-in wardrobe from 80s and the painting of it has started to come off. We stayed at the ground floor, so the floors were cold and we needed to wear flip-flops or slippers inside. If you are used to drink espressos or freshly grineded cofee for breakfast then you would not be happy with the Nescafe coffemachine on the breakfast.

Perfect place, calm and relaxing with a heated pool % worth the money

Everything was nice clean and neat the place is a bit old but well taken care of, The facilities are nice and the swimming pool is beautiful we had a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment where we could cook some meals, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was rich and you could find options for every kind of diet, the room service came and clean the room I'm the morning even though we were checking out two hours later. I really love that we could use the pool all day long despite that after 6 p.m. there will be no lifeguard. Beds were very comfortable and clean the studios are really big and spacious, can't complain about nothing...

Not much honestly but more or less the parking, they don't have parking so you need to find a parking nearby which can be challenging in the afternoon or night, just be prepared for a little look and everything should be good

Nice, quiet and comfortable stay

I stayed at this hotel on my own and I couldn't be more satisfied! The staff was very nice and very kind throughout. The room was spacious and comfortable, there was a min-kitchen and everything I needed. The pool was nice and well maintained.

I think that maybe having 2 single beds next to each other wasn't very comfortable, and I wish I had one double bed instead.

Overall very good

The hotel is in a very beautiful location. There are a lot of nice areas for hiking nearby. The breakfast and dinner was good quality and with enough options, all quite healthy. They also have a spacious gym. A very quiet location with quiet hotel guests - we could sleep easily.

The drink policy for dinner was quite confusing. We ended up overypaying for still water during the first evening. When we arrived with our own water the next evening, it was not allowed - the solution was to bring us two glasses of tap water from the kitchen. Please put the tap water, at least, by the buffet, so people can refill the glasses on their own (in breakfast it was done exactly like that). The current dinner drink menu is also limited, with few and overpriced options (although the breakfast has great smoothies, juices, etc included in the price).
